A Splendid Journey of Lord Krishna's Devotee - JAYA DEVA - PART 6

Jaya Deva's wife Padmavathi and the queen spent their time by discussing about mythical stories, thereby padmavati preached about the glory of God.

One fine afternoon, Padmavati had been talking about the history of Seethai, Savitri and Chandramadhi.

"Those had happened, according to that period. Women are yet living by considering their husband as a God, have been serving them and his belongings. None can sacrifice their lives for their husband in this age period", thus queen said.

Promptly padmavati said, "Virtuous women would live in any era". The queen ceaselessly kept forth her opinion.

Padmavati said, "You misunderstood my words. Women in chastity will die soon after they hear that her husband is dead, those were mentioning as lived unified in two bodies".

The queen face blazed with angered. "She is haughty on herself of being virtuous. Isn't life is trivial thing to renouncing? Why didn't she give up her life soon after her husband had lost his limbs?", the queen thought and went off.

Aftermath the queen called up her servants, "Kill a bird and imprint the bird's blood on Jaya's cloth, bring up that cloth and do inform us that Jaya Deva was killed by a tiger", thus said. The servants affirmed to do with half-heartedness.

The queen came back to Padma, " My friend! A tiger has attacked both Jaya Deva and the king, when they are in the jungle. I've sent servants to collect the further information", expressed with grief-stricken.

Padmavathi face shrank. "What! Is it indeedly happened! Krishna! Only You can save them upon!", she howled.

Instantly the servants came, shown Jaya's cloth, " Amma! Jaya Deva was killed by a tiger. How this unfortunate death could happen to a pure soul?", thus lamented.

"What! Is it indeedly happened?", padma said and froze with shocks.

"Do I require to live furtherly on this earth?", she screamed and then her body slumped upon the earth.

The queen stretched her hand to hold padmavati but only the dead body had fallen on her hand.

"Alas! I failed to understand the fame of virtuous women! How I lost my intellect? What would I describe to the king after he arrives?", said the queen with fluttered.

In due time, an old man came over there. "Princess! I've just now seen the light of Padma. Despite, the respectful Jaya Deva can bring back her. So don't give up your life. Do keep her body inside the room", said Old man.

She consented to his request and quickly she prepared to keep her body in the room.
